URO’26 Categories
The robot acts as a smart gardening helper, cutting high grass, collecting unwanted weeds, and carefully moving ladybugs out of its path. It must also activate the service point, avoid damaging fences, and safely return to the Start & Finish area after completing its tasks.
The robot operates in a challenging environment where it must extinguish fires, transport hazardous chemicals, locate individuals inside the factory, relay their positions to rescue teams, and navigate unfamiliar terrain to reach the site.
Robots can improve daily life by guiding visitors, handling repetitive tasks, and supporting senior care. In hospitals, they assist by transporting items, delivering supplies, interacting with patients, and safely navigating around staff and visitors.
The United Robotics Olympiad (URO’26) offers young innovators a chance to display their creativity, robotics skills, programming knowledge, and problem-solving abilities from any location.
Online Mode is available for the Explorers, Trailblazers, and Visionaries categories.
Students can participate individually or in teams of up to five members. Before registering, participants should thoroughly review the URO’26 General Rules to understand the eligibility criteria, competition requirements, scoring system, video guidelines, and submission process.

Ensure that all information, including participant names, ages, categories, school details, contact numbers, and email addresses, is entered accurately.
Register for URO’26After receiving the Challenge Mat and robotics kit, you can start preparing for URO’26. Construct and program your robot according to the mission requirements for your category.
Participants may use their own compatible building components to create the necessary challenge objects, as long as they adhere to the specifications outlined in the official mission document.
The Challenge Mat must be placed on a clean, flat surface without surrounding walls or barriers unless specifically stated in the mission rules.
Participants are encouraged to test, improve, and optimize their robots before recording their final competition run.

Participants must adhere to all video recording requirements to ensure fair evaluation of their submission.
Submit your final robot run video along with the completed URO’26 Score Sheet before the official submission deadline.
Carefully review all information prior to submission, as incomplete or incorrect entries may impact the evaluation process.
Teams will be awarded positions for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, along with certificates.
